SunGard acquires GTI Consultants in France

SunGard has acquired GTI Consultants, a specialist consultancy providing IT services to French financial institutions. GTI will become part of SunGard's Cadextan business unit. The deal will involve the transfer of 100 consultants, with expertise in retail banking and insurance, from GTI to SunGard. The Cadextan unit, based in France, will grow to more than 500 consultants, becoming one of the largest pools of specialist finance and IT consultants in France. SunGard is hoping to strengthen its
