BOSTON-based Commercial Union Insurance Co. (CUIC) has purchased Securities Software & Consulting (SS&C) Inc.'s Complete Asset Management Reporting and Accounting (Camra) system to manage its investment portfolios companywide. In selecting Camra, CUIC rejected Princeton Financial Systems Inc.'s Pam and opted not to consider systems offered by its incumbent, the insurance software division of Sungard Data Systems Inc. CUIC hopes to have Camra installed by the end of August.
