Lipper Puts Analytics On The Web


NEW YORK--In addition to fine-tuning its fund classifications to better reflect actual investment styles, Lipper is also repackaging many of the products and services its sold for years to buy-side firms to reach retail investors using discount broker and mutual fund Web sites.

Broker and fund company Web sites are determined to differentiate themselves from the competition, and Reuters and Lipper are only too happy to provide them with the analytical tools to help them do it.
