Prudential UK Consolidates IT Groups And Systems

LONDON--Prudential is re-shaping its IT functions and consolidating systems as part of a major shake-up of its UK operations. The aim is to deliver cost savings of £175 million per annum from 2004 onward.
The master plan involves pulling Prudential’s separate IT functions together in one organization, called Prutech, a "shared service" for all Prudential-branded businesses.
