The largest public pension plan in the US, the California Public Employees' Retirement System (Calpers), with approximately $120 billion in assets under management, licensed Princeton Financial Systems' PAM portfolio management and accounting system to back up the service bureau provided by Princeton's parent, State Street of Boston. Calpers was also in the midst of corporate database project, the Calpers Information Technology Vision, that relied on Unix-based client/server systems
