Liberty To Take Stake, Managerial Role In EJV; Peterson To Leave

After months of negotiations (IMT, March 19), Liberty Brokerage Inc. and the EJV Partners L.P. have finally come to terms: Under an agreement reached last week, the interdealer Treasury broker will become a minority partner in the struggling fixed-income data and analytics vendor, and will assume managerial control over it. Following the conclusion of the deal, Bruce Peterson will leave his post as president of the EJV. Another two dozen EJV staffers were also laid off late last week.
