In its recently published Performance Measurement and Risk Survey 2003, London-based investment management consultancy Investit has revealed that nearly 50% of respondents have three or more performance measurement and attribution systems. This, according to Jim Trotter (below), author of the report, can be attributed to poor functionality and inflexibility of many off-the-shelf systems. By Victor Anderson
