Fix certification testing for equity trades fizzled out with the breakdown in negotiations between Fix Protocol Limited and TradeAssure in October 2000. But now it seems certification is back on the buy-side agenda, with the release of Fix version 4.4 and the emergence of a new breed of Fix-engine vendors. GL Trade’s Geoff Patrick explains why
