The partnership will integrate McObject's high-performance database technology with GoldenSource's market and reference data management tools to meet the data analysis requirements of new regulations.
“Regulations such as FRTB require market risk departments to analyze over 10 times more time-series market data than before, so a huge amount of time-series processing power will be needed to be compliant. In addition to speed and the ability to process large quantities of data, clients will also require richer datasets for golden price generation, which is what eXtremeDB will help us do outstandingly well,” says Charlie Browne, head of market data and risk solutions at GoldenSource.
