Global Insight Integrates Desktop

Lexington, Mass-based economic data provider Global Insight last week launched a new release of its DataInsight analysis and charting front-end application, which provides an additional workstation deployment option alongside the vendor's datafeeds and other front-end interfaces.
Until now, the vendor has mainly provided its data—which comprises economic information on around 250 countries—via datafeeds that can be used to populate various database applications, such as SunGard's Fame database
