In last week's Inside Market Data, Brian Cunningham, head of buy-side infrastructure at Bloomberg, said the vendor's upcoming data distribution system will cost $5,000 per server deployed. A Bloomberg spokesperson says Cunningham spoke prematurely, and that the vendor is still finalizing pricing for The Platform.
Bloomberg Gets the Basics
Nasdaq OMX last week confirmed that Bloomberg has begun distributing the exchange's Nasdaq Basic product, which provides real-time top-of-book quote
