KX Speeds Up Client Queries

Kdb+ does not have its own query front end, and the data it stores is instead accessed via third-party analytical software, such as Matlab or Panopticon, which might have appeared slow because Kx had not optimized its front-end access options, says Kx chief technology officer Simon Garland.
