West Germany To Provide Centralized Market Data And Trading
THIS WEEK'S LEAD STORIES
West Germany is due to go live Dec. 1 with a market data delivery system that will eventually be enhanced to offer screen-based trading on a centralized stock exchange.
The launch of the system -- the Inter-Bank Information System -- will precede the startup of the Deutsche Terminboerse (DTB), an electronic futures and options exchange that will utilize software developed for the Swiss Options and Financial Futures Exchange.
