Chicago's Intersat Builds Ticker Plant, Offers Data Feed

DELIVERY & DISPLAY

Chicago-based International Satellite Communication Corp. (Intersat) plans to begin offering next month a data feed of primarily North American exchange data. The 64 kilobit/second feed will be delivered by interactive satellite link, and will feature an entitlement system that will allow users to switch services on and off as they choose.

Intersat is aiming to provide a market data feed that would compete with the likes of PC Quote Inc.'s Hyperfeed and McGraw- Hill Inc.'s S&P Comstock feed
