FAIRFIELD, CONN--Sagemaker, which aggregates market data and other information for delivery via the Internet (IMD, Aug. 3, 1998), is now targeting the news consolidation market currently dominated by Newsedge. The cornerstone of its attack will come from the planned merger with Retrieval Technologies Inc. (RTI), which delivers real-time news from a variety of sources.
