Dow Jones, Reuters Form Interactive Joint Venture For Corporate Desktops

NEW YORK--Citing the growth in demand for business intelligence and customers' calls for a single vendor, Dow Jones & Co. and Reuters last week announced plans to combine Dow Jones Interactive (DJI) and Reuters Business Briefing (RBB) to create a new joint venture called Dow Jones Reuters Business Interactive (DJRBI). This follows the recent integration of Dow Jones Newswires with Reuters' market data services and marks the closest integration from the two longtime rivals to date.
