Chi-X now trades, clears and settles stocks in 10 European markets, having extended its service to include Belgian, Danish and Norwegian stocks in the last two months. Chi-X also plans to roll out to Italy, Spain, Austria and Portugal, with specific dates still to be announced.
More than 12.5 million trades were executed on Chi-X in the second quarter of 2008, a 90 percent rise on the previous quarter.
