Markit Readies Enhanced ETF Data

Markit intended to launch an enhanced version of ETF Hub last year (IMD, Aug. 17, 2009), but expanded the project's scope to include all exchange-traded structured products, including ETFs, exchange-traded certificates, notes and structures such as exchange-traded partnerships.

"We recalibrated the plan after realizing that we were going to include lots more data than in the first specification.The new database will be multi-regional, multi-asset class and multi-structure," says Markit executive
