BATS Enlists QuantHouse, Updates Multicast
The deal adds to an existing relationship with UK-based low-latency data and trading technology vendor Fixnetix, which has supplied Euro-pean market data to BATS Europe since the MTF's launch in 2008 (IMD, Sept. 29, 2008).
BATS uses the data from other European exchanges and rival MTFs to support order types such as pegged orders, as an input into market analytics, and to support its recently announced smart order-routing service.
