Former Stoxx CEO Joins MSCI

Ricardo Manrique, former chief executive of European index provider Stoxx, joined rival index vendor MSCI at the end of last year as executive director in New York, responsible for its benchmark and derivatives indexes in the Americas, and reporting to Ted Niggli, head of MSCI's index business.

Before joining Stoxx in 2008, Manrique was associate for Latin American derivatives marketing at Standard Bank, prior to which he was associate for structured derivatives marketing at JP Morgan, and
