ASX Deploys Velocimetrics for Network, Market Data Monitoring
Monitoring tech will improve latency and customer service, officials say.
ASX has deployed Velocimetrics' software alongside intelligent network recorders from network monitoring vendor Endace to capture, index and record network traffic across its infrastructure with nanosecond-accurate timestamping at each hop.
In addition to market data, ASX will use Velocimetrics to monitor the latency of trade data across its matching engine, as well as regulatory issues around market fairness, such as to ensure that incoming orders reach the engine in the exact order they arrive
