Euronext to Consult Clients on Index Strategy
The exchange will propose strategies for its proprietary and third-party index business to clients.
Michael Hodgson, head of information services at Euronext, says the exchange will begin consulting clients at the start of October, and probably complete the exercise in December, before releasing any index products or initiatives created as a result of the exercise in the middle of next year. The exchange will direct its efforts on existing clients among banks and exchange-traded fund providers, as well as research firms that focus on indexes.
