Thomson Reuters Launches New FX Benchmark
In addition to the 32 rates covered by the ECB reference rate for which this benchmark is an alternative, clients can access an intraday service covering 155 currencies.
The benchmark is calculated using primary market data from global trading platforms such as Thomson Reuters Matching, EBS and Currenex.
The vendor will provide prices for all 32 rates covered by the ECB reference rate with a 30-minute delay via the financial.thomsonreuters.com website.
Customers who require additional real-time data can also subscribe to the 2pm spot rates of the WM/Reuters intraday service, which includes 155 currencies against the euro, pound sterling and US dollar.
Only users who have a paid subscription or are part of a corporate subscription are able to print or copy content.
