ASX Taps Metamako Switches for Data Monitoring, Timestamping

ASX is using Metamako's MetaMux switch appliance to monitor timestamping and time synchronization of data across its new trading platform.

Dave Snowdon, founder and chief technology officer of Metamako, says the vendor has been working with ASX for about six months to test and validate the hardware as a proof of concept, ready for when the exchange goes live with its new trading platform later this summer.
