A new data analytics studio born from a large asset manager hits the market

Amundi Asset Management’s tech arm is commercializing a tool that has 500 users at the buy-side firm.

Amundi Technology, the tech arm of Amundi—one of Europe’s largest asset management firms with over €2.2 trillion ($2.4 trillion) in assets under management—is working to commercialize its internal data platform, Alto Studio.

One challenge the industry faces is that teams of researchers, quants, and financial analysts may want to use artificial intelligence, but their firms have yet to provide them with a way to do that safely and easily. To address this, Amundi Technology created Alto Studio
