Aussie super fund overhauls investment platform with BlackRock Aladdin
Aware Super’s Project Odin includes implementations of BlackRock Aladdin, eFront and GoldenSource EDM
Aware Super—Australia’s third-largest superannuation fund, managing A$176 billion ($113 billion) of assets—is nearing the finish line of Project Odin, a multi-year overhaul of its internal investment platform.
At the end of March, it completed the first phase of the project with the implementation of GoldenSource’s enterprise data management platform. Now, almost two months later, it has kicked off the final part of the project—implementing BlackRock’s Aladdin platform.
