S&P Global details AI partnerships, LLM advancements

The data provider has partnered with Microsoft and Anthropic to use hyperscaler tech to boost its AI offerings.

Ongoing demand for S&P Global’s generative AI solutions has seen the data provider ink deals with Microsoft and Anthropic to use those tech giants’ hyperscaling capabilities, president and CEO Martina Cheung told investors during the company’s quarterly earnings call on Thursday.

Back in April, S&P integrated its Global Commodity Insights data into Microsoft 365 Copilot. And two weeks ago, it announced a partnership whereby S&P’s AI-focused subsidiary Kensho used Anthropic’s Model Context
