OK, so first of all, where have I been? At the start of September, I experienced an unexplained condition called “wrist drop,” where my wrist hung limply and refused to move. My writing wrist; my typing wrist. Oops. “Wow, that’s cool,” the doctors said, but they had no idea what caused it or, frankly, whether it would get better. However, others (thanks to all the staff at NYU Langone) told me I would recover over time and recommended attending occupational therapy sessions to aid my recovery
