Securities industry nears tipping point for dual messaging standards

Market participants are calling for a maintenance freeze on the ISO 15022 messaging standard to encourage further adoption of ISO 20022. The two standards have coexisted in the securities industry since the latter was first introduced in 2004, but there is no fixed cut-off date.
