Fraud, breach of contract suit against LSEG can proceed, judge rules
Exchange group’s motion to dismiss fraud and breach of contract claims was denied on Friday in a Delaware court.
MayStreet co-founder Patrick Flannery’s lawsuit alleging fraud and breach of contract against London Stock Exchange Group can move forward in Delaware’s Court of Chancery, Judge Meghan Adams ruled last Friday. Adams denied LSEG’s motion to dismiss the suit, allowing the case to proceed in its entirety.
In a 55-page memorandum opinion, Adams wrote that Flannery’s complaint met the minimum standard of evidence required to begin the discovery and trial processes. She also wrote that the breach of
