Data latency and quality are still key factors for investment firms trying to achieve the highest quality trade execution across asset classes, according to speakers at last week’s Best Execution conference in London.
“One of our main concerns is problems of latency in feeds. Typically what you find in FX is that when things get busy, when you want to deal, is when feeds get latent,” said Jonathan Webb, director and portfolio manager at C-View, a Hertfordshire, UK-based fund manager
