Jahani, Hochron Get an Edge
Jersey City, NJ-based stock exchange Direct Edge has hired Saro Jahani as chief information officer and has promoted Rich Hochron to the position of chief technology officer, replacing former CTO Steve Bonanno, who announced his departure in March (IMD, March 21).
Jahani joins Direct Edge from the National Stock Exchange, where he also served as CIO, while Hochron was previously head of software engineering at Direct Edge, having spent 11 years at the ECN-turned-exchange.
