Markit Eyes Front-Office Push with thinkFolio Acquisition
Thinkfolio's incumbent CEO, Andrew Walsh, will join the division's executive leadership, while the firm's staff will transition to Markit in the near future. Financial terms of the deal have not been disclosed, but Daniel Simpson, managing director and head of enterprise software at Markit, says that the inclusion of the product and business within the firm will not only boost thinkFolio's capabilities, but also Markit's abilities in the order management system (OMS) space.
