Watkins was most recently director of products and marketing at low-latency network provider Perseus Telecom, prior to which he was vice president of financial institutions at hardware vendor Fuzzy Logix, and director of business development for financial markets at hardware-based messaging vendor Solace Systems, prior to which he held various product and account management roles at BT, Verizon Business and AT&T.
