Panelists: Infrastructure Innovation an Issue of Culture, Attitude
Infrastructure innovation does not reside solely in the technology realm but should revolve around people and culture.
Innovation can mean different things to different parts of the capital markets, but it is uniformly seen as a positive driver for technology architectures. Cost will always be a barrier, but firms also need to have the right culture and attitude in place.
This was the underlying message during a panel discussion at this year's European Trading Architecture Summit in London.
Duncan Cooper, who works in Bloomberg's business connectivity and integration division, raised the point that while
