WRDS Taps RavenPack for News Analytics
WRDS will offer clients access to RavenPack's historical datasets for academic research and back-testing purposes.
RavenPack already has a steady academic following prior to this partnership, and has been providing its News Analytics dataset for around five years to almost 30 universities worldwide running PhD programs, primarily in financial engineering, says chief executive Armando Gonzalez, adding that these institutions consider RavenPack to be the "golden standard" for news analytics.
