Barchart Names CME's Petersen Head of Strategy
Petersen has held strategy and corporate development roles at CME Group and IMC Financial Markets.
Reporting to Barchart chief executive Mark Haraburda, Petersen will focus on two of the vendor's business units─Media, which includes its financial portal, advertising and related products; and Solutions, which comprises market data feeds, financial content and trading software─that cover both its institutional and retail client bases.
Petersen was most recently manager of corporate development and finance at CME Group, focusing on business development for equity index and currency products
