BNY CEO updates on ‘platform’ operating model, AI rollout

In its Q2 earnings call, the bank outlined its progress on rolling out its new operating model and ‘Eliza’ internal AI assistant.

Custodian bank BNY has migrated half of its employees to a new “platform” operating model, and expects the transition to be complete by this time next year, officials said during the bank’s Q2 earnings call yesterday.

The platform operating model, first introduced three years ago, is intended to enhance connectivity across and between the various business lines and empower employees.
