I was recently having a conversation with the chief data officer of a large, global bank and the head of engineering at a second large, global bank. That might sound like a setup to a joke, but this did, in fact, happen.
We were discussing data challenges in a world of rapid AI evolution, when the idea of using AI for data enablement—making high-quality data available to those who need it, when they need it, and in the format that they need it—came up. I sat back, sipped my beer, and listened.
