IBM’s ‘multi-billion-dollar opportunity’ securing open-source software
In its first three weeks, Lightwell has made 7,500 open-source patches available to clients.
In response to Anthropic’s Mythos model announcement in early April, IBM and Red Hat unveiled Project Lightwell, a $5 billion commitment to help enterprises secure open-source software, at the end of May.
