FISD, FIF Tackle Issues Facing Securities Industry At Two-Day Conference

NEW YORK--The Financial Information Services Division (FISD) of the Software and Information Industry Association (SIIA) and the Financial Information Forum (FIF) teamed up to present a two-day forum focusing on securities processing. Approximately 120 delegates were on hand to discuss issues ranging from the need for standardized security identification numbers to capacity planning.

Day one of the forum, which was put together by FISD, focused on the lack of uniform standards for securities
