The increasing sophistication of security operations at cloud providers are outstripping what small firms can do in-house, buy-side executives say.

Two of the top concerns about using the public cloud have traditionally been data security and privacy. Now, however, for smaller firms, the public cloud actually offers certain security advantages that they otherwise may not be able to afford.
