Deutsche Bank has been intensifying its innovation efforts over the last few years, and the recently-appointed Elly Hardwick, head of global innovation at the bank, delivered the keynote address to kick off WatersTechnology’s inaugural Innovation Summit to share its strategy.

She said that meaningful innovation for large financial institutions should focus on three key areas: the selection of the innovation model, the production of a balanced innovation portfolio, and cultural transformation.
