Comments at the FISD meeting gave the impression that Reuters is changing its strategy regarding its permissioning system DACS. One panellist noted that the new DataScope Select service is not on DACS and suggested that Reuters is not putting its new products on DACS.

However, a Reuters spokesperson said, "Currently, we don't see DACS as being value added for DataScope Select, which is a non-feed service. Of course, we would always be prepared to look at that again if we found this is something
