Icap Creates New Data Brand

London-based interdealer broker Icap has combined its market data assets under a new umbrella brand, Icap Information, officials say.

The brand brings together Icap's original business of direct sales of data generated by Icap's broker desks with the data business of electronic spot FX broker EBS, which Icap bought this spring (Dealing with Technology, April 24), fixed-income data vendor GovPX, which Icap bought at the start of last year (IMD, Jan. 17, 2005), and the data arm of electronic fixed
