Relegence Expands into EMEA

The Relegence Corp., a provider of news search technology, is expanding into Europe with the opening of a London office on Feb. 1.

Bob Grant, senior vice president of Relegence, says the move was prompted by interest among European firms for technology similar to the vendor's real-time search engine. "We were getting a lot of requests. We have got global clients, including Credit Suisse First Boston and Merrill Lynch, that are already re-using our software in the UK and elsewhere around Europe,"
