Fortis Defects Back to Screen

Fortis, the Brussels-based financial group, is returning to Screen Consultants' InfoMatch market data management and inventory product after switching to rival BST's FinOffice system only 18 months ago.

The bank replaced InfoMatch with FinOffice in 2004 as part of a two-year cost review project (IMD, Oct. 18, 2004).

However, Cor Breur, global market data coordinator at Fortis, confirms that there were problems with FinOffice's analysis and reporting functions and its interfaces to the bank's
