Hemscott to Go Private, Combine with i-Deal

UK fundamental data provider Hemscott is set to delist from the AIM market and go private, confirming expectations that surfaced earlier this year.

In May, Hemscott officials said they were in discussions that could lead to a bid being made for the company (IMD, May 15).

Now Centerpoint Data, a holding company for Hemscott's majority shareholder, media merchant bank Veronis Suhler Stevenson, has put in an offer to buy all of the minority shares in the vendor. Centerpoint Data then plans to take
