Is Bloomberg Finally Discounting?

We've heard from a New York research house that Bloomberg is soft dollaring terminals and offering extensive free trials to attract new business, close deals or keep existing customers happy in the current tough user/vendor environment.

One sell-side Bloomberg customer says the vendor does cut deals, but only with its largest customers, and it has been doing so for years. Without being specific, the source says Bloomberg is prepared to provide added services at no extra charge, emphasizing that
