Beast Financial Systems, a New York-based developer of pricing, analytics, distribution and trading software, is going out of business, say industry sources.

Sources say officials of the company, originally known as the TheBeast.com, informed employees on Friday, July 25, that the company would be shutting its doors. Beast officials did not return multiple inquiries for comment. Representatives of the company’s major investors, including Bear Stearns, decline comment.
